It was the night of the full moon once again.

As Ravien prepared himself for his second transformation attempt, he was filled with optimism. He was proud of the long way he has accomplished. He's confident it'll be successful this time.

Everything was set up once more. The chrysanthemum circle is waiting for Ravien.

Ravien took one big exhale and walked towards the circle.

Furray is now on standby with her Special Dart. Fenrir was trying not to look anxious but is failing miserably

The moon showed itself, and the transformation began.

It was a good start as white smoke started to come out slowly from Ravien's skin...

...but then a sudden flush of red smoke took over.

As Ravien realized this, he started to get disappointed and angry with himself, consuming him and fading his confidence away.

As the red smoke started to cover Ravien fully, Furray prepares her dart gun, but Ravien shouted "Don't do it!"

"What's wrong with you?!" he shouted to himself

"You are shaming yourself! You are a failure!"

Voices started to fill his head.

Ravien's over-confidence made him forget his true intentions. His anger and rage continue to fuel the red smoke.

Now being consumed, the red smoke started corrupting Ravien.

Not wasting any more moment, Fenrir jumped to the circle and tackled Ravien out of the red smoke.

Fenrir was quick as he was also able to destroy the chrysanthemum circle, halting the transformation.

Ravien, now partially a werewolf and devoured by his rage, struggled to get off from Fenrir's tackle.

"Calm down, boy! Ravien! Ravien! Get hold of yourself," Fenrir shouted at Ravien and hoping it'll reach his remaining human sanity.

Fenrir was already bleeding from scratches and bite marks.

Thankfully, his Lycan abilities allowed him to heal and endure the pain.

With a firm decision, Fenrir commanded Furray to fire the dart, hitting Ravien right at his neck.

Ravien was now again unconscious in his uncle's arm.

There was fear in Fenrir's eye.

"What am I doing?! Maybe it's impossible for him."

"I can't risk losing his nephew. I can't lose another family member anymore." Fenrir thought.

"Ravien couldn't keep doing the transformation ritual anymore. He might not be able to survive the next attempt." Furray told Fenrir

But Fenrir desperately told Furray, "I wish there were another way, but it is the only thing we know to save him."

Hopeless too, Furray told Fenrir. "I know it's impossible for now, but I'll do my best to research further on how we can help him. Maybe there are other ways. For now, he needs to rely on the darts. It may keep him unconscious for a bit, but the effect doesn't degrade". Fenrir, uncontented, agreed with Furray's answer.

It's the best way for now.

Ravien woke up the next day, but this time, he tried to trace back what happened; Ravien faintly remembers feelings of anger and rage, but that was it.

Still woozy, Ravien got out of his tent and noticed that the whole camp Luna seems busy like something is about to happen.

Fenrir approached Ravien, glad that his nephew is okay.

"How are you feeling?" asked Fenrir

"I'm alright, what happened last night? Did I succeed?" Ravien replied.

Fenrir told Ravien the whole story of the incident.

Fenrir also told Ravien about the risk of transforming again. That he might not be able to survive. It was a hopeless situation for him, as Ravien realized.

Irritated, Ravien said, "What do I still lack?! What do I still need to succeed?!"

Fenrir understood Ravien's frustration and told him to calm down.

Fenrir was about to say something to Ravien when he was interrupted by a Sacrifar, Paw.

"Uhm... I'm sorry to interrupt but the grand meeting is about to start." Paw told them.

Fenrir, Ravien, and Paw began walking towards the meeting.

Fenrir, Ravien, and Paw proceeded to the camp's grand tent, and there, they were greeted by Furray, Bark, Woof, and the rest of the Sacrifars.

Bark and Woof stood up and started the meeting.

The two told the faction that during their recent mission and scoutings, a family was raided by Vampires. And just in the nick of time, Bark and Woof arrived in the scene. A bloody brawl commenced, but Bark and Woof came out triumphant.

Weakened and defeated, the two Vampire tried to haggle and bribe the Bark and Woof, but obviously, they didn't buy it. One of the Vampire gave one last push and tried to escape, but Bark immediately got and grabbed his neck.

The escaping vampire then threatened them, "Laugh your hardest now! Soon you'll be slaves to us! The Vampires! Our source of nourishment! A full moon from now, we will retrieve the great power from Evang..."

But before the escaping vampire finished his sentence, the other vampire grabbed a broken glass. He slit the escaping vampire's throat before cutting his own, eventually killing them both.

Woof ended the story by telling the whole faction that the vampires were maybe pertaining to the Kingdom of Evangelica.

Surprised yet still composed, Fenrir told the faction, "It isn't possible since any evil creatures, especially the vampires, can't go inside or even get near the kingdom."

"Unless..." he continued

"Unless what?" Furray asked.

"She's still alive..." Fenrir answered. Furray was shocked by this realization.

Fenrir, with his eyes wide terrified, shouted

"We need to gather every Sacrifar! There will be an upcoming siege in the next full moon! We have to prepare!"

"Send a raven to Evangelica and inform them about the siege We will stop the vampires from acquiring this power!"

It was already evening when the meeting finished. Ravien, a little confused about the conference, asked Fenrir who's alive and what's happening.

Fenrir then took a deep breath and thought that maybe it's time that Ravien finally knows about what happened to his family.

Fenrir asked Ravien to come to his tent. "Sit down, Ravien. I think it's time that I finally let you know about your family's story.

Ravien and Fenrir sat down near a fireplace. Fenrir started to tell Ravien his real name, Maximillian Greyhound. He then continued the story of what happened that night and the truth that his mother and father didn't die in an accident. That, they died protecting him and her twin sister, Mina.

Ravien was shocked knowing all of this; he got angry with Fenrir for not telling him. Fenrir apologized and cleared that it's an oath and a promise that he made to his grandmother.

To keep him alive and give him a good life, but it seems fate is always finding its way back to him.

Realizing the burden that Fenrir had on his shoulders, Ravien's furious thoughts began to subside. Finally asked, "Where's Mina?"

Fenrir told him that as much as he wanted to save both of them at that time. It was already too late.

It was a decision that he needed to make. And he needed to make it fast.

Dalveth, the evil leader of the vampires, eliminated all of his family members, and at that point, he can't risk losing Ravien too.

Fenrir continued and connected his story with the current news; he told Ravien that there's a big chance that his sister is still alive.

"Maybe she's been taken hostage by Dalveth all these years and just waiting for the right time to use her."

Fenrir told Ravien about Dalveth and how his deeds caused a lot of pain and havoc to the whole kingdom of Evangelica.

Finally, knowing the truth, Ravien felt that his world has gotten weirder and broader.

And with pure intent, Ravien told Fenrir that he would take this as his mission.

"I'll find my sister and make Dalveth pay for what he did to my family. With or without the Lycan powers."

Fenrir saw Ravien's determination and agreed. Fenrir told Ravien that he would assist and look for him if his werewolf curse started to manifest. He'll bring the darts if anything happens.

For the next few weeks, Ravien trained even harder than ever before, greatly improving his gunslinging and movements.

If he can't transform by choice, at least he can shoot any enemies effectively.

Several days and nights have passed, the day of the siege is almost here.

Back at Camp Luna, the Sacrifars recaps and finalizes their plan of ambush and attack.

"We'll leave at dawn and hide straight into the woods near the kingdom until sunset. Be alert and watch for or any suspicious movements," said Fenrir as he closes the meeting.

"This is going to be a messy war, so watch each other's back. We don't abandon our family." Fenrir continued

"A feast will be waiting here. So, let's all come back together in one piece. Understood?!" Fenrir shouted.

"Understood!!" the Sacrifar howled along with different clamoring noises.

It was like a battle cry but dedicated to food, fully boosting the Sacrifars' morale to the top.

"Meeting's over! Off to your tents and get enough sleep. Okay!?" Fenrir also in high spirits

"Okay!!!" The Sacrifars' responded with an even louder howl.

"Good Night!!" Fenrir's energy didn't falter.

"Good Night!!" The Sacrifars' replied with an equal amount of energy.

The meeting officially ended up with a lot of laughing

Camp Luna's noise slowly died down as each of the Sacrifars went to their tent to finally rest except for Ravien.

It was almost midnight, but it seems like Ravien couldn't catch any sleep, And, coincidentally, so did his uncle Fenrir.

Ravien walked outside and created a small campfire. Fenrir quickly noticed the smoke coming from the middle of the camp. He got up to take a look and saw his nephew by the fire.

Fenrir walked out of his tent towards the campfire.

"Can't sleep?" he asked. "Yeah..." Ravien replied.

"Tomorrow's my birthday, and it seems like the world is making fun of me by giving this situation as a present..." said Ravien

"The irony...right?" Fenrir laughed.

"The irony indeed.." with a little chuckle, Ravien agreed.

"What if I saw Mina tomorrow? What will I do? How will I know!? There will be bloodshed! Killings!" suddenly, Ravien asked as panics starts to manifest in him.

"Relax..." said Fenrir calmly.

"That silver necklace of yours was given to you by your grandmother on the day you were born. Most probably, your sister does have one too." Fenrir continued.

Ravien looked at his necklace; it was the first time he paid attention to it. He removed the necklace and noticed the moon pendant. He flipped the moon and noticed an unreadable etching carved to it.

He tried to look at it closer when suddenly, the etchings in the pendant began to glow and arrange itself to reveal the letters: M...A...X... It was his name.

Ravien was amazed.

Then Fenrir continued his answer, "Impressive, right? But wait, there's more, it seems like you're grandmother cast magic in your necklaces. There were instances when you were still a kid, that your necklace gets dropped or misplaced; and it returns to you automatically. It's like a part of you or something."

"Hey, do you want to know the meaning behind your name?" Fenrir randomly asked Ravien

"Oh...kay," Ravien awkwardly answered as he tries to connect it to their conversation.

"It's not just to fully conceal your identity... I named you Ravien in honor of your late grandmother Evangelie Raviere and your family, who died for you and your sister. And Sacrifar to welcome you to your new family."

Ravien smiled after hearing the meaningful intent behind the name.

"Mina, we'll save her. I think everything that's happening is happening for a reason, and tomorrow might be the turning point for all of us.

Don't kill if you don't have to, focus on saving lives, and be the moonlight to everyone that needs it." Fenrir told his nephew.

Ravien responded with a satisfied smile and said, "Thanks."

"C'mon, we need our rest. We still have a long day tomorrow! After that, we'll celebrate," As Fenrir got up together with his nephew.

"Thanks, Fenrir, no, I mean uncle," said Ravien as he hugged his uncle for the first time.

Fenrir smiled.

Seige day. Luck was in favor of them. The Sacrifars sensed that it would be a new moon.

Meaning, that it will be an extremely cloudy sky, covering up the whole kingdom with clouds.

The Sacrifar continued their silent watch, but it was almost already sunset, and there aren't any unusual movements.

"Was it a false alarm?" Fenrir thought

As the sun fully sets itself underground, a thunder crack was heard. The glowing barrier of Evangelica vanished!

Everything was silent, but there's something. An ominous feeling, coming closer and closer. The Sacrifar finally prepares for battle.
