Upon arriving at Camp Luna.
Still, in shock, Ravien quickly opened up and told Fenrir what happened.
Fenrir comforted the sobbing nephew and advised to take a rest for the night and calm his thoughts.
A few days and nights have passed, and Ravien slowly recovered but the dreadful night still haunted him.
One evening as Ravien slept, a chilling feeling touched his face. Ravien opened his eyes, and there it was, the ghost of the boy, bloody and wounded, floating right in front of him.

In a cold and whisper-like voice, the boy asked, "Why, mister, why?! You murderer. You murderer!" The boy was slowly getting close to him, getting redder and more prominent.
Ravien was scared that he couldn't move, and all he can do is scream! And then he woke up.
It was a nightmare. Fenrir came rushing to his nephew.
"What happened?!" Fenrir asked frantically
Ravien still breathing heavily, "Nothing, it was all a nightmare..."
Ravien got up and went outside to get some fresh air. He sat upon a porch, looked at the moon, started to hate himself, and the curse that flows inside him.
It didn't take long, Fenrir patted Ravien's shoulder, gave his nephew a cup of tea, and sat beside him.
Fenrir sensed the guilt in his nephew, and he too had that brewing hatred towards himself.
Fenrir then told Ravien, "Hey, having the curse of the werewolf is a painful and gruesome path. Yes, it is a road full of darkness and will drive the carrier mad."
Fenrir looks at his nephew and continued
"But it is still our choice to join the darkness or be the moonlight that guides everyone who is lost in that dark path."
Ravien looked back to his uncle, a small spark of clarity and realization were now starting to be visible on his face.
"Casualties happen, and mourning for them would always be the next best thing to do. But, my dear nephew, don't forget to move forward.
Honor them by improving yourself and be the protector that you want to be. And that is the code of the Sacrifars." Fenrir finished.
"Thanks, Fenrir," Ravien replied but still looking down.
Fenrir noticed this and randomly asked Ravien,
"Hey, have I already told you about me and your father's adventure?" Hoping that he'll be able to cheer Ravien up finally.
Fortunately, this took Ravien's attention. Now seem focused, he replied to Fenrir.
"Uhm, no, not yet. But please tell me."
"Alright, here it goes," said Fenrir
"It was a long time ago. I was also a savage werewolf. I won't deny that I have killed a lot of innocent people, and it almost drove me insane. But thankfully, my family never gave up on me, especially your father, Harry. I told your father that I don't want to kill anymore. I'm angry that I can't retain my consciousness. I'm sick of this curse of this monster that I have become. If only I had a way to control this. Harry was full of optimism despite the dark times we are experiencing. He helped me find the way. We searched almost all the libraries that we can go to, but it always left us with no luck. Until one day, your father stumbled upon an ancient book from our family library. It was hidden among the deepest section of our library, faded and almost invisible. Your father picked it up out of curiosity. The book was written by our great ancestor, Maria Von Greyhound.

Harry found the book named 'Creatures! Anomalies! And how to deal with them.' It mentioned different monsters that have been roaming in this world. There was a page dedicated to werewolves. Describing their lifestyle, symptoms, and even how to kill one if seen. Sadly, there wasn't any useful info about controlling the curse, but it did mention something that our great ancestors witnessed.
According to the book, Maria Von Greyhound was doing her nightly research in the woods when she saw a man, surrounded by white chrysanthemums stained with blood. It seemed like the blood came from the man as Maria noticed the cut on the man's palm that was still dripping blood on the flowers. As the moon finally showed itself with its peaked brightness, the transformation started. The man was struggling not to transform and was in a state of intense pain. Excruciating. He then first transformed into a terrifying beast, revealing that he was a werewolf. And then there was white steam coming out of his body that started covering up the whole vicinity. Maria also stated that there was silence afterward as the steam slowly vanishes and revealing a man, no, a wolf, but it seems like it's both. A wolf on two-feet. She said that the creature noticed her even though she's far away, and with a blink of an eye, the wolf-man was gone. Maria only heard rumors and legends about this, but that incident proved that they exist. The evolved werewolf, the Lycanthrope.
I was also desperate back then, so I immediately told your father about this and that they have to try and do it. Luckily enough, it was going to be a full moon the following night. Your father and I had gone to the forest to collect white chrysanthemums and waited until it was dark. We started the preparation by scattering the flowers around, forming it into a circle. I cut my wrist and dropped some blood to them. It didn't take long, and the moon had finally shown up, I couldn't exactly remember anything, but I know it was excruciatingly painful. I was furious and hateful for being in that position. I thought I was going to die, but images of my family and I appeared in my thoughts. It miraculously cleared my mind, and then it stopped. It felt like waking up from a disturbing dream, I opened my eyes, and there I was surrounded by white smoke. I looked at my hands; it was different, but I feel better than ever. It was successful!
I immediately looked around for your father, and there he was below willow tree, eyes closed and scared. He looked like a scared baby. Haha! Anyway, I got to him, helped him up, and made our way back home.
From that moment and on. Your father and I dedicated ourselves to help the other werewolf victims to control their curse. From then on, the Sacrifars group was born. It didn't take long; we had our first recruit, William. An 18-year-old boy that was recently bitten. He said he wanted to get out of the curse so that his friends could accept him again.
We thought it was a valid reason and helped him out. So we did the same process of transformation. The ceremony started, but during the change, red steam scattered all over the place. And it was coming from William.
I don't know what to do. I looked at your father, and it seemed that he already has an idea of what was going on. He had that worried face the same as before, during my transformation. He asked me to stop the boy, but I don't know-how. He shouted that we need to destroy the flowers to nullify the ceremony. William heard this and told us not to interfere. The red steam has already spread throughout the forest, and it's getting out of hand. We started to destroy the flowers hoping that the transformation would stop.
But it was already too late, William now transformed into a mindless and bloodthirsty werewolf. He noticed your father first and tried to attack him. I was just in time to change and tackled William out of Harry.
The transformation amplified William's strength and was quickly overpowering me in my new state. With my last few power, I was able to throw him away from me, but unluckily, he landed on a sharp willow tree piercing him.
The incident got me bothered. We did every step correctly. Does the boy lack something? Then your father said, 'Maybe he lacked resolve?
Then your father told me what happened the night of my transformation."
What happened that night:
Harry was watching his brother transform. He was just a few meters away. Red steam came out from his brother's skin, and it didn't look like it was a good sign. Fenrir started to get savage midway into his wolf-form.

On the other hand, Fenrir, almost failing the transformation, noticed his brother Harry but not as his family but a big slab of meat to eat. Just like any hungry and thirsty animal, he viciously moved towards his meal.
Harry was screaming to stop and remember. Until Harry shouted at Fenrir to remember his family, him, and why he was there.
As he about to strike his brother, Fenrir gained a little consciousness and stopped his hand just in time. He pulled himself back to the circle of white chrysanthemums, and the excruciating ritual continued.
But this time, white steam finally came out from Fenrir's skin, and it started to cover the whole vicinity. It didn't take long until the pain stopped; the transformation was over. Fenrir in his wolf state, with his mind and consciousness still intact. It was successful! He saw his frightened brother under the willow tree. He got up to him, and Fenrir put out his hand to help Harry get up.
"After hearing your father's story. I began believing that the missing ingredient is to have a firm resolve. I barely made it out but I did, thanks to your father's help. I owe it to him.
We had to move on and continued helping other Sacrifars, offering the transformation and also telling them the risks behind it. We made sure that they need to have a firm resolve before we do it.
It was a risk, but, thankfully, the succeeding applicants were able to transcend into Lycanthropy form. Furray was the first of our recruit and the first female Lycan. Next were the best friends, Bark and Woof. These people eventually became our friends and helped us expand the Sacrifars to help more victims.
But like everything else, there were still mishaps and failures along the way, most of them understood the consequences. Most of them trust their lives to the other members that if failure comes, honor them by taking their life. But some took their own experiences during the transformation before becoming savage.

And one of the hard, sad truth is that the transformation doesn't just revolve in right resolve. As long as you have firm resolve even though it's terrible, it'll be successful. As we found out that some spies and eavesdroppers witnessed and studied the transformation. They took advantage of it and created their faction for their selfish reasons."
Fenrir finished his story.
