"I've finally figured out how to get home!" said Lucy while wearing a melancholic smile that she cannot hide.

As much as she's excited to go home, Lucy has finally grown fond of the place. And her feelings for Pietro are, well, growing romantically at the same time.

"W-w-wow! Hooray! H-h-how?!" Pietro asked, his words breaking from happiness but with a bit of sadness too.

Lucy started explaining to Pietro that she heard a knock and found a piece of paper that was slid under their front door. And when she tried to look who slipped the paper but was no one there; just a chilling breeze.

"Oh, it's extra cold tonight," Lucy muttered as she rubbed her arms for warmth before picking up the paper.

There was written on the paper, and it said something about the portal...

"Nothing to Worry Nothing to Ponder On a Midnight in Full Turquoise Moon Everything will go back naturally. Must not fight Must not resist If it senses tampering Time will heal itself eventually."

Lucy and Pietro looked at each other. They both know that tomorrow, the turquoise moon will be at its fullest, and tomorrow at midnight is also their last time together.

Both are sad, but Pietro and Lucy know it's for their and the rest of the world's best.

Pietro and Lucy spent their last day going out and having some fun. They had their picnic in the park — Shared stories. Told things from their time, from horses to cars to grandfather clocks and wristwatches. And even magic and technologies, and so on.

The night has finally come. A few minutes before midnight, and it's time.

They both stood in front of the fountain, the Blue orb, and the portal started glowing, and the entrance finally opened. Lucy and Pietro finally said their thank yous and goodbyes to each other.

Pietro hugged Lucy for the last time just before Lucy walks away.

Pietro held Lucy's hand, and finally, the most awaited kiss has happened.

They held each other tight as if letting go is not an option. Pietro and Lucy admitted the romance that they had formed and told each other the words of love they wanted to hear.

Taking the chance, Pietro asked Lucy not to go. Lucy didn't want to go either, but they both know that was not possible.

They held and hugged each other for the last time. Tears started to roll from their eyes as Lucy began walking into the portal.

She was gone.

He was again,

alone.

But instead of being depressed, Pietro learned something that night...

"Whether they are far or gone, as long as the memories stay in their hearts, they will always be right in you."

Pietro smiled and said the words, "I'll miss you, Lucy, you'll always be my inspiration." As tears continuously run down from his eyes.

Lucy safely arrived back in her time as if nothing was changed. It was still evening like what happened was just in a dream...

A few months after.

Always visiting the park, Lucy still misses Pietro.

As she leaves the park, Walking slowly but not looking her way, Lucy accidentally bumped into a person. Picking themselves self-up, they started apologizing as they slowly looked at each other.

Lucy was surprised by who she saw.

It was a guy that somewhat looks familiar... His name was Gale.

A few more weeks have passed.

Gale and Lucy eventually became close friends.

One day, When Gale and Lucy were hanging out at his house. Lucy picked up a guitar and played a song.

Gale jumped out from his seat, surprised and curious; she asked Lucy some questions like:

"Where did she hear that song?"

"How did you know that song?"

Confused, Lucy told Gale that she was playing her all-time favorite song and explained that it was written by someone special to her but wasn't able to witness its completion. She only knows a few parts of the song, yet she considers it her favorite piece.

More confused, Gale told Lucy that the song was so popular back in the far past and has been the trademark song of their family.

Gale further explained that based on his family stories, the song was written by one of his ancestors for a specific girl whom he loved so much. The girl that saved him from totally ruining his life.

Waiting and hoping that the song will reach her wherever she was.

Tears began falling from Lucy's eyes. The tears of joy and sadness, remembering the fun days and adventures with Pietro.

It was a happy future for Lucy after that.

She and Gale eventually ended up together and lived happily ever after.

As for Pietro...

One sunny morning...

While writing poems and melodies, Pietro heard many horse stomps and noises outside his house then loud knocks on his door succeeded.

Disturbed by his writing momentum, Pietro irritably shouted.

"Coming! What's the rush?!"

"What's the prob-" Pietro said as the door fully swung open before he could finish his sentence. Pietro was surprised and confused.

A middle-aged person in a formal suit was standing in front of him.

It was Gerard, the Butler. Their Butler.

Breathless and sweating.

There was fear in his eyes.

"Master Han! Your parents have asked me to come here and fetch you. You need to come home! They are in critical condition, and the city of Punk O' Steam is in grave danger! Monsters and Bandits are everywhere! You're our only hope!"

Shocked, the boy named, Han Pietro Musica, quickly packed his stuff and jumped into the carriage.

"Let's go," he told Gerard.

And the Blue Orb glowed once again.

End.
