A year has passed…

The sweet and caring Pietro that most people loved is nowhere to be found. Instead, the mischievous new personality is now terrorizing the town of Nesseley.

Even though our young lad has changed a lot, one thing remains the same. It was the love for his dear Erica.

Every Wednesday of Full Turquoise Moon (every third Wednesday of a month in our standard calendar), he visits their secret park, now abandoned, to recall the good memories they have.

One of those special days will be tonight but a little and somewhat different. Tonight is also Erica's death anniversary.

Evening strikes, carrying the precious bell that Erica gave him, Pietro sits on a bench near the park's fountain. He felt so alone, a year has already passed, but the memory from that fateful day remains fresh.

"I miss you."

He said softly to the wind. He was aimlessly hoping that Erica might hear it.

…but what if she really did?

A cold, gentle breeze suddenly roams the park. Pietro felt it across his skin, it was beautiful but odd.

As if the night didn't get weirder, a faint blue glow began to pulsate slowly in his pocket. Using one of his hands, he reached and grabbed the glowing item. It was the bell.

He curiously examines the bell and couldn't find anything that might have triggered the glow. There was no switch, toggle, or key. Na-da. Now more curious, he stared at the bell steadily, and then a not-so-brilliant idea came up to him.

Holding the bell tightly, he rang the bell.

The sound echoed all over the place. It echoed even though it was an open space.

Weird, he said curiously.

Now the breeze got a little bit aggressive, and the faint glow from the bell is now slowly getting brighter.

Curiosity was the main suspect. Pietro rang and rang it again. The breeze also got stronger, and the glow got brighter and brighter on every bell ring. The fountain starts operating on its own and joins the oddness as well.

As Pietro rang the bell for the seventh time, the breeze, which is now a very aggressive wind, swirled around the fountain triggering something he has no idea of.

And as the glow reached its full brightness, a wave of energy came out from the bell and started to spin around the park violently.

Pietro, now nervous, doesn't know what to do anymore. He tries to get out of the park, but his knees won't allow him anymore. He then realized that this must be his time, a beautiful way to finally see her beloved on the other side.

Ready to embrace death, Pietro is stunned by what he saw right before his eyes. The energy stopped moving. Now floating slowly, and then it explodes.

Pietro thought it was the end, but little did he know that it was only the beginning…

The energy has finally come to a complete stop. The blue rogue power now looks like a circular mirror floating steadily in front of the fountain.

Due to the explosion, Pietro was thrown off to the ground. And as he gets up from the ground, Pietro starts to notice something in the energy mirror. A small blurred figure was getting bigger like it was getting nearer.

Ready to face more weirdness, armed with just sticks and stones, Pietro runs towards the energy mirror, engaging in an attack. Halfway through his brave decision, the blurred figure had already reached the end of its travel or sizing and was thrown off to Pietro.

Pietro, now back on the ground, shoved the figure off him.

Pietro picked up his pseudo-weapons, again armed and ready to fight, he waits for the figure to move before he commences his counter-attack. But a few seconds have already passed, and the character is still not moving.

Pietro walked slowly towards the creature, attempting to get a better look at his "enemy."

He poked the creature with his stick, there were no signs of moving, but he knows, by his gut feeling, that the creature is still alive and just unconscious. Pietro tried to turn the creature around to see its face and was surprised at what he saw.

It wasn't any creature or figure. It was a human being, a female human being to be specific. Pietro also noticed the person's clothes and was pretty sure that she wasn't from around.

Pietro tries to wake her up, but it was no use. He put the bell back to his pocket; the glowing has finally stopped. Out of guilt and care, Pietro picked up and carried the girl into his arms. He had one final look at the energy mirror as it starts to fade out, before rushing towards Nesseley to get some help.

It wasn't a mirror…it's a portal, he said to himself.
